SPIRIT LIGHTS

Canwll Corfe - Welsh term for mysterious flame-like lights bobbing over the ground or above houses. A harbinger of death.

Clanogrian - An English spirit in the form of a glowing light which indicates the coming of a death.

Corposant - A Corpse Light.

Corpse Candles - Welsh glowing balls of light.

Corpse Light - A white, red, or blue phosphorescent ball of light which is a harbinger of death seen over bogs and marshes. Blue indicates the death of an infant. Large lights mean the death of an adult.

Elf Lights - Corpse Lights.

Fetch-Candles - Glowing flames or balls of light over houses or marsh lands and foretelling of a death.

Fetch Lights - Corpse Lights.

Fool's Fire - Ball-shaped lights seen over bogs and water meadows.

Fox Fire - Corpse Light.

Ghost Lights - White, blue or yellow glowing spheres seen near woods and waterways.

Globes - Orbs.

Globules - Another word for orbs.

Ignis fatuus - Latin for "Fool's Fire".

Jack-O-Lanterns - Corpse Lights.

Liekko - In Finland this is the lost ghost of a child buried in a forest.

Orbs - Substantive, floating circular balls with color or brightness seen in areas of high paranormal activity.

Spheres - Orbs.

Will-o'-the-Wisp - Faint green and red lights seen at night above, bogs, marshes, and swamps.

ASTRONOMY

Active - A term used to describe when solar x-ray flux is active.

"C" Class Flare - A term used to describe when solar x-rays of the common variety are active.

First Quarter - One-half of the moon appears illuminated by direct sunlight and is increasing.

Full Moon - The moon's illuminated side faces earth and appears as a fully-lighted disk.

Geometric Field Status Monitor - The scientific monitoring of the geomagnetic fields around the earth.

Gibbous - The lunar phase when the moon is more than half dark, but less than fully illuminated.

Last Quarter - One-half of the moon appears to be illuminated by direct sunlight. Illumination is decreasing.

Lunar Cycle - The precise, calibrated phases of the moon through a calendar period.

"M" Class Flare - A term used to describe when solar x-rays of the M-Class variety become active. It denotes a geomagnetic storm will engulf the earth with charged particles within 24 hours to 5 days time. A Mega-Flare.

Mega Flare - A term used to describe when an unprecedented solar x-ray event has occurred.

New Moon - The moon's un-illuminated side faces earth. The moon appears as a dark disk or crescent sliver.

Normal - A term used to describe when solar x-rays are quiet.

Quiet - A term used to describe when earth geomagnetic fields are quiet.

Solar Flares - Temporary bursts of solar gases from the sun's surface which are a source of intense radiation. Spirit activity rises during intense solar flares.

Solar Terrestrial Activity Report - A graphed comparison chart documenting solar cycles. The report includes info on sunspot numbers, solar fluctuations, and indexing for earth geomagnetic fields. Increases in paranormal phenomena can be checked against this report to confirm if geomagnetic fields have increased.

Solar X-ray Status Monitor - The scientific monitoring of solar x-ray activities on the sun.

Storm - A term used to describe when a geomagnetic storm is bombarding the earth. This is an ideal time to conduct paranormal investigations.

Unsettled - A term used to describe when earth geomagnetic fields are unsettled.

Waning Crescent - The moon appears to be partly but less than one-half illuminated by direct sunlight. Illumination is decreasing.

Waning Gibbous - The moon appears to be more than one-half but not fully illuminated by direct sunlight. Illumination is decreasing.

Waxing Crescent - The moon appears to be partly but less than one-half illuminated by direct sunlight. Illumination is increasing.

Waxing Gibbous - The moon appears to be more than one-half but not fully illuminated by direct sunlight. Illumination is increasing.

"X" Class Flares - A term used to describe solar x-rays of the "X" Class variety.

Enviroments

Ambient Temperature - The normal surrounding air temperature.

Electromagnetic Field - The field of force associated with electric charge in motion. Both electric and magnetic components are contained within this field. Spirit energies generate electrostatic fields contained in the electromagnetic spectrum of energies.

Electromagnetism - Magnetism arising from electric charge in motion.

Electrostatic Energy - Of or relating to stationary electric charges. A component of spirit energies.

Infrared - Of or relating to invisible, electromagnetic radiation with wavelengths greater than visible light and shorter than microwaves.

Microwave Radiation - Invisible electromagnetic waves in the region between infrared and short-wave radio wavelengths. Gives false anomaly readings to EMF devices.

Primary Readings - The first in a series, list, or sequence of paranormal documentations. Also instrument readings of the best degree, quality, or importance.

Thermal Radiometry - The use of a device to detect and measure radiation fluctuations related to temperature variations in the environment.

X-Rays - Relatively high-energy photons within the approximate range of 0.05 angstroms to 100 angstroms. A stream of these photons has a very effective penetrating power. Solar x-rays create geomagnetic storms.
